An Eminent Eagles Victory Indeed
We are very pleased to announce that the Diamond Valley Eagles have done us proud with the Division One Women's team reigning supreme as season Champions following their knock out Final win on Saturday 23rd August 2008.
As proud major sponsors of the Eagles teams this year, all of us at Eminence were delighted to see the teams performing so well and congratulate the Division One Women in particular for their grand final success.
The Open Women's Eagles defeated the Warrandyte team by 22 points in an impressive match that had spectators at the edge of their seats. Recovering from a rocky start the women powered home in the last quarter to take home the Championship with a final score of 78 to 56.
As an avid supporter of the Diamond Valley Eagles 2008 season Villawood’s ‘Positive Change Platypus’ mascot joined in a half time basketball game with the Eagles young players, who were also announced as the Bendigo Bank Team of the Week.
